Welcome to my blog.

I write because I was afraid to show my weakness in understanding the art of writing. For as long as I can remember, I struggled with learning to comprehend and express my thoughts through words. Growing up with ADHD and dyslexia, I struggled immensely and often gave up. As a visual designer, I could dodge this skill for a long time, but now I have become more confident in my abilities, and I have a lot to say. Follow along my journey, and I hope you do something courageous for yourself.

Where did you learn to become creative?

As an educator, I challenge my students to be more creative. But do educators teach the skills to become creative? When it comes to being creative, what does that even mean? I spoke with Brittany Chaffee about how she honed in on her skills as a creative writer and how her skills translated into her career.
